YOU HAVE A CHLIDS BRAIN

 

Probably one of my favorite comedies no hyperbole, and has some legit terrifying moments.

 

Was slowly working my way back through the Friday films. The first is a stone-cold classic and Part 2 and The Final Chapter are super super strong slasher flicks.

Part 3D, which was one of my favorites on first watch, was a little slower than I remembered. But my biggest surprise so far is that A New Beginning, one I wasn't really looking forward to revisiting, is actually a super solid Friday movie! There are some great kills, and the unknown killer aspect of it almost harkens back to the original in a way. Excited for Jason Lives!

 

Okay yall, I am looking for some solid giallo recs. Shudder just dumped a ton onto their stream. I have seen (and thoroughly enjoyed) the likes of Blood and Black Lace, Cat O Nine Tails, What Have You Done To Solange?, Don't Torture a Duckling among some others I can't remember right now, but there are a bunch on here I haven't seen.

 

I don't know how this is the first I've heard of it, but it's out today on Shudder and currently sitting at 100% on RT. Seeing really solid things. Might try to watch tonight!

 

if you havent seen deep red/suspiria definitely watch those and any other argento movie but I'm assuming you've already seen those lol, Buio Omega, House At The End Of The Park (this one is a little rough to get through content wise but the ending is amazing), Torso (believe they are adding this to shudder soon), and The New York Ripper are all pretty solid

 

oh and The Beyond is insane

 

Completely forgot about the Castle Freak remake. Gonna have to peep that shiz on Shudder.

I have seen most of Argento's stuff but none of the others. The New York Ripper is a lock cause that's one Fulci film that I've wanted to see for quite some time. Will definitely check out the others, thanks!

 

Anyone doing TTCM streaming event tonight or tomorrow?

 

Holding out for Joe Bob Saves Christmas next Friday. Sounds fun, though!

 

Watching Spookies. Off to a great start

 

Finally got around to last years Black Christmas. I’m not typically one for complaining about horror movie protagonists but I was truly confounded by some of the decisions they made.

Also the Exorcist III rip was wild

 

Did Better Watch Out this morning. Outside of one unnecessary scene I forgot about and a couple of jumps in logic, it's so well-paced and tightly put together.

 

watched it for the first time last week and really loved it.

 

how was it?

 

I thought freaky was great. Vince vaughn should win best actor

 

I liked it! The leads were great and it was funny and gory
