Finally got around to Werewolves Within. Super fun film.

Not really something I would consider "horror" as it's more drama with some light comedy but Wolf Like Me was actually not that bad of a series on Peacock. 6 episodes, under 28 minutes each.

I can confirm that it was incredibly fun. I’d say it’s one of Shudders best, honestly.

    Classic.

  8. Okay, Seance (Shudder) doesn't completely add up but more people should absolutely watch it (@Contender in particular). Without spoiling, it's a roller coaster ride that pays homage to a lot of classic 80s horror. It's also the directorial debut of Simon Barrett (who wrote The Guest). Really, really fun watch.

It’s been on my watchlist, but haven’t had a chance to check it out! Everything about it screams me.

Trying to utilize Paramount+ instead of wasting the trial. Currently watching House on the Bayou.

Umma was one of my least favorite viewing experiences I can remember. The concept of it is great in theory, but it bumbles it every single step of the way. My girlfriend and I laughed through most of it, as the characters are nonsensical. There are plot threads that just go nowhere. The motivations are a little perplexing. Just don't watch it. Its not even so bad its good. Its just bad.

The real horror is how the Spencer’s/Spirit treats their trans employees.

It's been a slow work week, so I've been making my way through the Final Destination entries on HBO Max. Perfect entertainment to only half-watch, just gotta stay tuned to the sequences leading up to deaths.

I completely forgot that The Final Destination has a guy die by water pump a la Chuck Palahniuk's book Haunted.

I’ve probably shared this story a million times but I always find it amusing - in middle school tried to show a friend Final Destination and he refused to watch it once I told him the plot because, “the devil doesn’t decide when and how people die, God does”.

years later when he no longer cared or followed religion like when he was younger he watched the films and liked them and didn’t remember ever saying that but I randomly bring it up to him because it was so fucking funny to hear that said to like 15 people and all of us just go silent and be completely dumbfounded by such a comment lol

Knowing that seance was from the guy that wrote You're Next, I guessed the twists about ten minutes into the movie lol. A little bummed with that ending, but enjoyed it overall.

    X tonight!
