Very late to the party but watching Halloween Kills since it’s on HBO Max and I’m 50 minutes in at the scene where Michael attacks the SUV and this shit is comically bad.

Film felt very choppy leading up to this point but this scene is just hilarious in character reactions and logic. I’d almost think it was a spoof if it wasn’t for the serious music lol

Watched The Wind last night. A little predictable but I enjoyed it. We don't get a lot of Western horror, so it felt pretty fresh.

After the Simpsons brackets, should we do a horror franchise one?

Lol. Shit. I totally missed the part where this was a franchise thing--whoops. Well, I'll keep it here because it's amazing anyway.

I love the writing. The discourse amongst all the characters is truly fascinating to watch. Richard Jenkins as Chicory is flawless. Love his relationship with Kurt Russel throughout.

I need to get around to Bone Tomahawk. The RLM guys got me stoked to watch. I just struggle with slowburns, and I hear the opening is a bit of a slowride.
