what death was it? That’s also a reason I deleted Twitter years ago. Lots of spoilers and lots of misinformation. Same for FB.

I haven't had Facebook in well over 5 years and I don't miss it at all. I fucking hate that website. The only reason I still have a twitter is to follow musicians, movies/shows, and vinyl related news/sales.

@Vivatoto and all other King fans here...

The first three episodes of From are on Amazon Prime. Got a lot of Stephen King vibes from the pilot. I think the majority of this thread will be into this new horror series.

My bf hated Texas chainsaw so much I was banned from picking the tv shows/movies for the rest of the night lol. I disliked it too. There was like zero suspense or payoff. Felt like kills were so quick and no build up at all and some things I felt like made little to no sense.

I'll keep From in mind, but I've also got Archive 81 on my radar. Heard lots of good things about it.

TCM was short, but good. I’ll echo what some have said about the bus scene. It’s wild.

  14. Revisited Jacob's Ladder last night after not remembering much of anything about it (I saw it once in middle school probably) and it absolutely blew me away. Felt like a horror-adjacent bridge between Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket and Eyes Wide Shut. Just an incredibly effective genre mashup of a film, and Tim Robbins was incredible. I loved it.

Going to do Eyes Without a Face tonight and maybe Trilogy of Terror.

I didn't get it when she opened the bus window and got killed crawling out. Were windows unlocked the entire time?? The scene was quick and gruesome so idk if I missed them struggling to open windows aside from everyone banging on them, but when she slid it open I was like WAIT THAT WAS AN OPTION THIS WHOLE TIME?!

They Live in the Grey is pretty neat but the narrative isa little hard to follow.

Don't know if anyone in here watches Euphoria but during the credits roll of last week's episode, they played the main theme from Cannibal Holocaust and it was kinda surreal. I knew that I knew it, but couldn't place it and then I saw it lighting up all over the Joe Bob Briggs facebook group as many of those folks knew instantly.

The little kid is so bad.

Seems very low budget at times.

The sets are obviously super low budget. It's like three houses and a diner. The supporting cast just seems like some random no names.

The show has lots of potential. I was hoping for some Lost-style backstories after the pilot.

Has this world stopped asking what it's thinking?

I had fun with TCM! The writers bit off more than they could chew with the themes of gentrification, racism, social media etc and they all came off half baked at best. That said - this flick is all about the kills, which were fantastic. I absolutely loved the broke arm bone into face.
