Watched Swallow and really liked it. Not sure it qualifies as horror, but I pulled it off a year end horror list lol

Okay, Texas Chainsaw 2013 is silly and brightly colored and campy and I don't hate it lol it's a welcome change in pace after the ugly color grading and sadism for sadism's sake in the remake and The Beginning

 

I liked the new TCM. Don't know if that will be an unpopular opinion but it delivers on the gore

 

New TCM gave me way more laughs than I anticipated

it’s not good, at all. But it’s fun

 

Whopping 36% on metacritic.

 

Not expecting much but will be watching tonight and hoping for some good kills.

 

I watched the 2003 one last night. Not bad

My daughter is very into slashers right now so she's insisted we watch the new one tonight

Also will probably go see The Cursed this weekend

TCM has a post credit scene. Don’t turn it off right away like I did

 

Netflix is not promoting this thing at all. Fully expected it to be somewhere, anywhere on the main feed but it’s buried deep as far as I can tell.

 

I feel like I never see the big shows and movies until a few days later

Dunno, I'm weird and kinda liked it. It's the right amount of mean spirited horror that I wanted.

Interested in buying the soundtrack on vinyl for the cover alone.

Not a fan of this TCM at all. It's shot well but other than that, no thanks.

 

Has anyone watched The Curse yet? Thought the trailer was pretty cool, seems very inspired by the Witch

75, I think. Gunner Hansen was 27 in the original so if we go by that for Leatherface's age at the time then yeah. He old.
