The bear was terrifying. Hearing and seeing that in theaters was memorable ha.

 

Annihilation has absolutely become one of my favorite movies. Replay value is through the roof.

I don't think so. It's based on a graphic novel.

 

Ah yeah. It looks like the article was talking about how they simply reference Train to Busan in this.

 

I always see people posting about awesome dollar store or thrift store finds and yet all i ever see in these locations is like 14 copies of scary movie 4 and/or sharknados

 

The best 2000s horror might actually be Slither for me.

 

Slither is very good

 

Need to buy me a copy of Slither

 

The catch is to go often, I’ve gotten a bunch of great deals at the local DG literally around the corner from my place and often, I just come across something cool while picking up like a toothbrush or what not.

 

Yeah when I worked at DG, I got first pick putting out the horror movies around Halloween and found some relatively crazy stuff. Amityville Horror 2, Escape From Tomorrow, Creepshow 2, all kinds of weird/good stuff

 

The Descent or Inside (the french movie from 2007) are also strong contenders for best 00s horror

 

Inside is brutal

 

Inside fucked me up

 

The effects in Inside still blow my mind, the final 10 minutes is pure insanity. Really want to find it on Blu-ray cause I've only ever found pretty low quality rips of it but I can only ever find region 2s.
