man the ending of Come True made me laugh so hard I almost choked. holy fucking shit

 

was like they had an hour of a good movie and then just improvised 45 more minutes without a script lol

 

So much talk about Come True and it’s ending. i guess i have no choice

 

See For Me had such a great premise and mostly squandered it. The main character, despite her disability was pretty insufferable. Just kept making questionable decisions and seemed like a bad person. I wanted to get behind her, but she was a shitty kid. The person on the phone with her seemed pretty righteous until she made some very very questionable calls at the end. Such a bummer.

actually really enjoyed The Night House. not all that scary but sometimes atmosphere and a great cast is all you need. Beth is the best horror protagonist in ages

 

Just signed up to a 30 day trial of Shudder because I really wanted to watch Dawn of the Dead (1978) after seeing the Snyder "remake" and Romero's Night of the Living Dead over the weekend. I can't believe I got to my mid-30s before seeing a Romero movie...

Anyone got any Shudder recommendations? I've got Possessor, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Audition on my list at the moment, but open to trying a few Shudder originals too to see what they have on offer.

 

Maniac is a classic. Daniel Isn’t Real is a cool original.
