My first experience of SNDN2 was a trimmed down version at Alamo Drafthouse. What a blast lol. An all time great performance

 

I watched SNDN 4 on a whim over the weekend and had absolutely no idea it was a Yuzna film until the opening credits!

Movie is gross as hell and I can’t recommend it enough

 

The first movie to truly gross me out as a child lol

 

The sound of Billy eating the flesh cookies is etched in my brain forever.

 

I revisited HK on Sunday and while the initial luster it had during my first viewing has faded, I still really enjoy it. It's simply a brutal, unrelenting slasher with some of the goofiest side characters in the entire franchise. Very curious how they wrap up this trilogy.

 

Just watched Christmas Evil for Gourley and Rust

holy shit. Like…legitimately great? Just threw me completely for a loop.

 

There's Someone Inside Your House was shockingly good. Not all of the themes were handled particularly well, but it was genuinely funny at times and the kills were great. Felt like a trashy Gen Z Scream. Easy watch!

Gonna try and do all three Black Christmas movies this weekend. I've only seen the 1974 version, but am excited for the 09 remake at the very last based on the reception i've seen in here (and elsewhere). Not holding my breath for 2019 I suppose.

 

Did our annual rewatch of the '09 Black Christmas and still enjoy it quite a bit.

Def rewatching TLDI version of Dial Code Santa Clause with a friend this weekend, I'm afraid to watch anything I haven't seen on Shudder before their Christmas special next weekend haha
