    Back From The Dead Prestigious

I still need to watch 2021 Candyman, I should Redbox it

  2. Man, I love The Devil's Advocate. Runtime just flies by and it's so fun/unique to watch that I don't mind if Keanu Reeves forgets his accent half the time. Impeccable casting.

That’s a fantastic movie, Al Pacino practically eats the scenery

I hope so, I looked for a BD copy last night and couldn’t find one

  6. I rented it on Vudu.

I’m half an hour into Willy’s Wonderland and this is one of the more ridiculous movies I’ve seen in a minute

I'm getting close to Akwafina fatigue, but I'm not quite there yet. I welcome it.

Another example of how I’m very much out of the loop - I’ve never seen that name before seeing that post. And unless my brain is mush I feel like that’s a name I’d remember seeing somewhere along the way

  17. I also don't really like that out of everyone from Crazy Rich Asians it was her whose career seems to have taken off the most, but I liked her Shang-Chi and especially The Farewell, and her show Nora from Queens is actually pretty enjoyable. An Asian American actress is doing well in the industry, I can't complain (and it's not really my place to talk about her blaccent).

  18. At only five films, Critters has pretty easily been the toughest franchise for me to sit through lol

the 2006 version is a huge guilty pleasure of mine. Can't bring myself to watch the version from a few years ago.

Black Christmas (74) is a staple. Bob Clark going on to direct A Christmas Story a few years later somehow still blows my mind but makes sense every year when I end up watching bits and pieces of it on Christmas day.

I'm a defender of the 2019 one. Should've had a different title maybe but I think it's decent even if it beats you over the head with its messaging

    Never seen the 2006 one

  24. The 2019 one isn't as bad as people say, the third act is just bonkers in kind of a bad way. Still relatively well-executed and unpredictable. Worth the watch
