  1. Seconding Graveyard Goods! They're limited drops, but the quality is amazing and they're relatively well-priced.

Yeah both of those sites are limited drops -- it's best to follow them on ig to see what's coming and buy the day it drops

  5. Just noticed It Follows is back on Netflix. After Halloween is over. Because of course it is.

It Follows is more of an any-time movie than being Halloween-season prerequisites. Yeah, it’s cool to watch during the spooky season, but I think the only criteria that needs to be met for viewing It Follows is that you’re watching in the dark hah.

  8. My issue is that I had to find it elsewhere last month, and watched it with ads

  10. You guys keep mentioning Gurley and Rust, I just found out that that Rust is Paul Rust from that one Netflix show with Gillian Jacobs? Dude's (character is) a total douchebag!

Rust is one of the silliest guys. Always brings me joy even if I'm in a bad mood.

  13. He's also co-creator of the show with his wife, Lesley Arfin. Paul's the best.

I mean he's also one of the world's premier stand-up comedians, I've always described him as a young Bill Maher. When he gets miffed and cheesed off, watch out. Oh and he loves chemicals so much he might as well be Walter White.

  15. Shout Factory order came in just in time for the weekend! Tales From the Hood, Dog Soldiers, The Entity, Sleepaway Camp, and Ghost House/Witchery double feature.

Tales From the Hood is fucking amazing. Funny, disturbing, thoughtful. Just a blast. So glad I finally saw this one (and now own it).

What was the consensus on Antlers? Seeing it tonight.

I wasn't huge on it. There are some issues with the story. One being that it's bleak without much of a payoff. Another being that it's telling a story based on an indigenous myth being told from a white perspective. There are some cool effects though

I was surprised by Antlers and liked it more than I expected to. Wendigo mythology aside anyway. It was bleak AF for sure and no part of it was feel-good. Reminded me of The Ritual and It Comes at Night a little bit.

Watched The Feast last night. I think it was steeped in too much Welsh mythology for me to really fully enjoy. It was alright I guess.

I also thought of The Ritual, but I like that movie way more

  23. Doing THDI version of Jack Frost tonight and maybe Return of the Living Dead with Gourley and Rust's commentary if i have time.

Planning on the Grindhouse double feature plus Machete and Machete Kills over the long holiday weekend.

ThanksKilling is problematic as fuck lol

  25. Yeah, I don't think I'd expect a 2008 Troma-esque killer turkey movie that promises breasts in the first minute to be progressive, per se. I hated Thankskilling. Maybe I wasn't in the right mood for it, but Pilgrim is the best Thanksgiving horror movie for my money.
