Latest season of Dragula is off to a great start.

    A totally unexpected ending/elimination.

  2. Rewatched The Perfection. What a wild ride. I feel like there's a bit of (intentional?) overacting here and there and the negative portrayal of the Chinese bus driver still kind of bothers me, but (tw/spoiler) as a rape revenge body horror lesbian love story, it works, as crazy as that sounds.

I need to watch more giallo

Demons 2 is a lot of fun too

  5. Yeah, Demons 2 is on my list for this week

  6. Also rewatched The Babysitter, which I probably should've done before I watched the second one for the first time earlier this month. I like that this one's confined to the house, it's a bit claustrophobic and also just has less characters to focus on. Love Samara Weaving so much, and love that she can handle this and Ready or Not where her characters are in two very different, almost opposite situations

Been trying to catch up on movies lately but work has been killer. Did Hack-O-Lantern and Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost the past two nights. Also, if anyone is a Scooby Doo fan, Cartoon Network did a short on youtube called The Scooby Doo Project and it's a blast.

Jeepers Creepers always intrigued me because it was one of, if not the, first horror movies I came across where the heroes not only emphatically lose, but they lose badly.

No chance I touch that movie if he still benefits from it

I know it’s reported that Silva has no involvement and will not benefit off this movie... but it still makes me uncomfortable to support it

  15. Watched Life After Beth. As absurd and funny as this movie is, the performances can be pretty endearing when the script calls for it. Aubrey Plaza perfectly portrays the different stages of her gradual descent into zombie-ness. Fun seeing Cheryl Hines from Suburgatory in this after seeing Jane Levy in Fun Size and Office Uprising.

  16. Anyone watch Bingo Hell? I've only seen bad reviews of it unfortunately, but it looks ridiculous and right up my alley.

  18. How was it? Are any of last year's films worth watching?

Has this world stopped asking what it's thinking?

Inviting some friends over on Saturday to do a Halloween/Scream double feature. They haven't seen either!

From last year’s group, Nocturne is the only one that is a must watch. It doesn’t feel like it was made by a less seasoned director. Reminds me of Ari Aster’s storytelling.

The Manor is a fine story, however, lacks tension and not really scary. The ending is unexpected, but I loved it.

Last Night in Soho was fantastic and had some stronger horror elements than I was expecting!

Antlers was a letdown aside from a couple gnarly visuals.
