I like The Ruins as well. I need to get around to reading the novel

 

Werewolves Within was super fun. silly but entertaining and such a good cast

 

I really need to watch this. As someone who recently started watching Detroiters for the first time, I adore Sam Richardson.

 

Novel is great. The film does it justice.

I watched Promising Young Woman. I guess this isn't a horror, or even a thriller, even if it can get rather unsettling/upsetting. It subverts revenge story tropes pretty well, and while it's a bit divisive, I think Carey Mulligan's performance alone makes it well worth watching.

Checked out Night Teeth earlier. Not too bad

 

I watched it last week and the second the killer was shown on screen, I turned to my girlfriend and said "its them." They telegraphed it really really poorly. The look the character gives everyone the second the murder is mentioned gives it up. It was so bizarre. It didn't feel like Scream, that had you guessing the whole time. I ended up getting so bored with it that I just skipped to the end about half way through.

 

It is an extremely predictable reveal haha

 

New Bruce Campbell movie is basically an Evil Dead Christmas flick and I am HERE FOR IT. Effects look awesome.

That trailer reminded me of both the beginning of Krampus as a whole film and working black friday for many years of my life at Target. Sign me up, always down for more Bruce.

Watching Office Uprising for more Jane Levy but there's also Zachariah from Supernatural, Nightwing and Hawk from Titans, Dopinder from Deadpool, Morita from Spider-Man/Captain America, and Shazam from Shazam. Anyway, the movie is pretty funny once it gets going.

 

Watched two slow but visually beautiful movies tonight - Lamb (which I would consider to be more of a fantasy drama) and Beyond the Black Rainbow. One of them was interesting and presented something to chew on, and the other one was Lamb.

Mandy fans, def go back and watch Beyond the Black Rainbow if you haven't.

 

Just watched Satan's Slaves. Good stuff. Indonesian horror rules

 

Just watched Pieces for the first time. Not sure how it slipped by me for all these years, but it was wacky as hell.

 

i liked lamb a great deal but you’re right it’s not a horror movie

 

Finally watched Ginger Snaps and it is instantly one of my favorites.
