That’s Final Destination in 5DX

 

Bloodlines was so good. So much fun. Glad it got the theater release it deserved

 

We watched three and decided to move onto five and holy crap the gymnastics scene lol

edit: okay, finished, and I’m surprised this one gets as much love as it does. Had its moments though and did not see the amazing ending coming lol

 

Five is my favorite and I feel pretty strongly that the gymnastics sequence is the best in the series

 

Didn't end up going to this one but looks like Dangerous Animals was the mystery movie that played at Regal last night. Seemingly good stuff coming out of the folks who saw it.

 

Altered States still kicks ass. Wish I could find more government/academia/consoiracy-fueled psychological body horror. It's pretty much that and Jacob's Ladder, which is GOATed. Did make me throw on Prince of Darkness instead of Re-Animator afterwards

 

Doing a rewatch of Final Destination. Hoping to finish and catch Bloodlines in theaters (I know I prob don’t need to watch these before).

I watched Deadly Manor on Tubi last night. It's your typical late 80s/early 90s slasher set in an abandoned mansion and a group of teens are picked off, but it was exactly what I wanted to watch. Funny characters, lots of sleaze, unintentional humor, and supernatural shenanigans made it worth it.

 

My favorite scene in Bloodlines was when Eric gets pulled into an MRI machine by his dick piercing

 

I just realized something about the ending of Bloodlines.

Stefani and Charlie thought they cheated death the exact same way Kimberly did in FD2. So death was actually being ironic by killing them in a logging accident the exact same way Kimberly was originally supposed to die in beginning of the second film

 

TFW companies who already give you the ick gives you an even harder ick to contemplate.

 

Finally Gourley and Rust are getting back to horror and doing I Know What You Did Last Summer.

 

I feel like the FD franchise is setting up AJ Cook to return as Kimberly in the new Bludworth role for the next installments now that Tony Todd has passed. At least it seemed that way with how much they were mentioned in Bloodlines as being very important to the overall mythos.

 

Woo!! Finally! And a franchise I've never seen! Do you know when the first episode releases?

Also, did they ever cover Romulus? They should do the Predator movies sometime.

 

They're doing a poll asking if they should jump right into IKWYD after Superman and a short break or add Hero at Large to the Superman season. Looks like jumping into IKWYD will win in a landslide.

 

Just learned that there's a made for TV movie adaptation of Shirley Jackson's The Lottery from 1996 starring MTV's Dan Cortese and Keri Russell. That's extremely my shit.

 

Berserker is pure fun. A camping goes wrong type of slasher but with an undead Viking. Definitely gonna pick this up from a future Vinegar Syndrome sale.

 

I've had my eye on this one for a while, will peep with your recommendation!

 

Keep forgetting to cancel my A24 membership thing but used my accrued credit to buy Love Lies Bleeding 4k. and now i see i have a ticket for Bring Her Back, so score. Guess i'll see that this weekend.
