FD5 was really good! love the surprise at the end. also probably the best opening sequence since the pileup.

i think i figured out why i can handle most of these kills. while the deaths can indeed be quite gory, most of the characters die instantaneously, it's not drawn out and torturous. acupuncture scene was the only time so far in the series i had to cover my eyes, i haaate needles. that one had a few too many steps to it, but he deserved it. eye laser was also a tough watch, i kinda liked her.

No other new trailers. M3GAN2.0, 28YL, Predator. Was kinda hoping for a new Bring Her Back trailer

No, the trick was if I said my guess out loud that I'd be wrong and it would drop tomorrow because I knew it would be either of the two.

 

Screen Gems’ last two releases were on Tuesdays. And it’s been too long for the movie to not be out yet based on the release timeline of the last two as well. So it was either tomorrow or Tuesday and Tuesday seemed the safer bet to guess. The trick was real, I was being dead serious.

 

Bloodlines rocked! Probably my favorite of the whole series tbh. Breathed new life (lol) into the franchise in the same way Scream 5 did. Easily the most character driven entry yet

Hmm my stance on trailers is to avoid them until I can see them in the theater before a movie I'm seeing so other than the ones I just mentioned a few posts up idk whats out there rn. I saw one for IKWYDLS last time. think there's new ones for Together and Bring Her Back I haven't seen

 

honestly last year was so good that I'm not expecting all that many bangers in 2025

 

It’s been a decent year with some pretty decent looking things coming up especially Weapons and Him

 

so far this year we haven't gotten anything on the same level as I Saw the TV Glow and The Substance but there have been a lot of fun ones, like Companion, Death of a Unicorn, and ofc Bloodlines. also really enjoyed Presence
