Yeah that part and the munching on the countertop got me. Agreed on the former being much worse. The worst part is that closing my eyes wouldn't have even really helped me with the audio. The sound was almost worse to me tbh

Having never seen a picture, heard them speak, etc. anything from the directors (as far as interviews and such go), the opening welcome message was oddly normal for what came after.

 

It kind of felt like a light trigger warning for anyone who wandered into the mystery movie

 

AGREED. It was like they were setting up a comedy. It makes sense given how they got their start though.

 

But in a very wholesome way.

 

Yeah I don't know, they definitely lean into the whole "if that kinda stuff doesn't interest you, then head to your nearest exit now" but then play that off too. Either way, jarring contrast to the actual film that followed.

edit: third one basically took what was enjoyable about the first two and perfected it. MEW's my fav protag so far, but im probably most definitely biased

editedit: so do i skip the fourth one or do i see how bad it is?

 

haven’t seen it in years but it’s like 80 minutes so I’d say watch it to see how bad it is

 

Fourth one is ass, outside of the beginning.

 

MEW Final Destination is the best one but Bloodlines gives it a run for its money honestly

 

Saw it tonight, mouth dropped at some of the kills. I haven't rewatched most of the series in a while but this definitely falls in the upper tier for me. Will need to rewatch 1-3 to see exactly where it falls. Great fun movie

 

Would love a digital release date for Until Dawn

FD4 suuuucked hahaha. i guess they tried to make it 3d in theaters? so the cgi was just so bad. at least the racetrack and movie theater scenes were decent. i don't regret watching it but i don't wanna see it again

unrelated but i also think it's hilarious that Shantel and Nick were both in the Arrowverse. (and MEW was in a DC movie!)

 

I'd guess very soon

 

trailer shows too much, but looks like it could be a decent one.
