Finally saw this. Very good. A new Christmas classic. Angus should have gone back for niece Elise. 20 years ago, this would be making $80 to 100 million. Now, it’s leaving theaters before the holiday it portrays. We used to be a proper country!

lol I didn’t even think of that, this is a perfect movie to see in theaters the week between Christmas and new years.
Watched today and just adored it. I didn’t realize the other kids were going to leave so early on so I was a bit surprised and maybe even a little disappointed in that, but I loved where it went anyway.
Just watched this again, this time with my parents - again, absolute bliss. Makes me nostalgic for my college days, as mine had dark wood rooms just like Barton, with dorm life just as active
this isn’t my number one of the year but i’d have absolutely no problem with this winning best picture
