    More Hold Steady is always good. That said, I have absolutely fallen in love with the trio of solo records (and the b-sides compilation) that Craig put out over the past 5 years. Really, really, really good songs and storytelling.

    Do you know if he's written any books? I feel like he probably has but would be really interested in reading a novel by him.

    No books, but he was working on a TV show for AMC before Covid. Not sure of the current status, but I'm sure it'll be great whenever it does come out.

    Finn solo stuff is amazing, with the last two records (and "We All Want the Same Things" in particular) matching the highest of Hold Steady heights. I really thought Thrashing thru the Passion was a remarkable return to form, and I'm intrigued by both singles so far - I prefer Family Farm, but this is plenty good.

    Fuck, I can't wait to see them live again.
