If I still collected vinyl this would be high on my list. Loved this record. Saw them too many times at Chain.

Yup, saw them open for Panic! At The Disco there, and gave them a ride from Arby's back to Chain before the show.

    $40-$45 shipped?

Eh, I’d be in at $28.

We need to stop normalizing these prices. This isn’t pandemic/supply chain stuff, these prices were going this way well before. You’re putting out a VERY niche record/band, you’re pressing a solid number, and even with it being THE FIRST release (newly designed packaging, rights fees, masters, licensing, etc), you shouldn’t need to charge THIS MUCH to break even or make a profit. I’m speaking at every level of the process, from record label to vinyl pressing label, to plant.

This is what happened with the Head Automatica represses, they charged way too much - had to sit on the stock for three years, and then discounted them by 40% to just get rid of them.

Yeah, $35 list price seems steep. Does it really need to be a double LP? I’m spinning ATL’s Nothing Personal this second - it’s 1 LP and, according to Spotify, is 1 minute longer than The Higher’s record.

  10. Agreed. Histrionics, such a great record.
