I know a guy who used to be in a straight edge crew in STL, I can confirm that he broke edge and now he’s a stoner.
Fuck Regulate but I'm not surprised to see them on the lineup; I've accepted that they somehow get a pass from everyone for whatever bullshit reason. I gasped audibly when I saw Heavy Chains on the lineup though. I thought they were done. It bums me the fuck out to know that anyone could support that band. Singer literally almost murdered a kid over pit beef.
I’ve had the unfortunate memories of seeing FSU people jump guys outside of shows. Such a toxic mentality. I get many of these people had no direction/home and that is why they take it so seriously. It’s their only belonging and reality. But what a sad and deranged reality to live in.
Hopefully will be hitting the Boston date. Interested to see what Ekulu plays since they only have the 7”
Dude is also in Trail of Lies, who wrote a song that's basically a macho-tough guy response to abusers ("Run"). I enjoy both bands and that makes me a bit of an hypocrite, but the irony does not get lost on me.
The album art is so bad though. all there merch for the most part is trash. Should've bought the Suicidal Tendencies rip they had at Untied Blood last year. Love their music.
