Anyone have any recommendations (new or old) for fans of Stretch Arm Strong, Turnstile, and Angel Du$t?
I'd say maybe early Comeback Kid, Casey Jones, (maybe) Kid Dynamite, (maybe) 50 Lions. Even if 50 Lions is more on the hardcore side of things, Time Is The Enemy is a phenomenal album I feel like anybody in this thread could enjoy.
I think it's alright. She's an excellent vocalist. Would like to see her in front of a band that brings a bit more to the table.
Yeah, the Super Unison album is pretty great. No qualms about the band either. My favorite track is "Comfort" because it reminds me of Thursday. Between Super Unison, Gouge Away, and HIRS Collective it's a pretty great year for non-men in hardcore.
Love it. I feel like the hardcore scene needs to market that more. "Hardcore: for the heavy-music fan on the go!"
This reminds me that I need to pick up Super Unison and Gouge Away on vinyl and shirts for each of them.
I forgot to buy the new album on vinyl when I saw Gouge Away last week so I'm sad It's quickly become my favourite hardcore album this year
Sometimes it's nice to have short albums. Like as much as I love the newest Rolo Tomassi album, I hardly ever listen to it all in one go as it's 53 minutes long.
