I have no problem with people "dancing" and having a good time at shows, but fucking crowdkilling has got to stop.
Candy's a great fucking band, and their time will come. But to put them above Year of the Knife, Backtrack, Harms Way, and Terror on their first US tour seems a bit silly. MAYBE they could be above YOTK, but not the latter 3.
YOTK might have gotten a bigger response than anyone else last night. Although I didn't stay for Terror.
Caught Trapped Under Ice/Queensway/Diztort a couple of nights ago, TUI in Baltimore is always tight, people went off for Queensway too obviously (who from my understanding are just about done)
Their next one is “last one for awhile”, we will see. They’ve been a band for a while, wouldn’t shock me
They had recorded new stuff this year, they’ve been playing new songs live, and it seems like they had been gaining steam? I mean I guess stranger things have happened but I’m kind of surprised. That’s a shame though, I really liked their EP from last year
Last time I heard anything about it was a feature Noisey did about the band’s discography, Ross said it had a heavy California vibe to it.
Search for Purpose and Envision (a side project of theirs with Ecostrike's drummer) dropped two really good releases recently. FFO Turning Point, Praise, and all that melodic stuff. I'd be so down for a revival of this style
It's edge day. Post your favorite song about being edge. Although I am not personally I adore this song.
