The singer has been on a few podcasts in the last year and he is definitely a legit hardcore and heavy music fan. The fact they are getting a great response from a younger audience like Turnstile, Code Orange, and Power Trip has me interested to see what comes next.
While we’re reminiscing about older records, Trash Talk’s s/t and Plagues turned 10 this year. Still 100% bangers.
Axe to grind asked what the best hardcore records since 2010 are and I noticed the two most mentioned are Incindiary and Rival Mob.
Which Rival Mob record? Mob Justice? Good songs but the volume is way waaaay too low and I prefer the promo tape
Hardcore definitely isn’t what it used to be but there are still some bands holding the torch. I would say the new Turnstile is one my favorite released since 2010.
