@riotspray Weight Class are good. Kind of hard to hear them because the mic was messed up but I enjoyed what I heard.
New to me but I'm listening now and I like it. Maybe @Blainer93 is more familiar. Houston has some good stuff going on. Was just listening to the new Claymore.
Well, it was a mix of members from Righteous Jams, Raw Brigade and Invasion. They played what they referred to as Boston Hardcore karaoke. Lol
The original vocalist and drummer of Right Brigade. He has CTE syndrome and had to take a train from the west coast to the show since his daughter’s wedding was there. He said he can’t fly or ride in a car.
Rebirth Showcase in the books. It was great to head back to Philly and hang out with friends and see some incredible bands. Highlights of Sunday -Who Remembers opened with covering the Beastie Boys -Everybody Takes One playing with Jay from Turning Point and doing a couple of songs -Start Today playing and Bob Wilson jumping on vocals for a song -a rock block of back to back sets from Method of Doubt, Magnitude, Outspoken, Scarab, Judge and Fury
I had a lot of thoughts reading that list, I had the immediate albums that popped into my head as I’m going through the list at a point I’m like “damn social distortion is certainly high on my list” “I don’t know if anyone who likes both blink 182 and soul glo would have soul glo ahead of dude ranch”
So funny I was just thinking the other day that people should cover the beastie boys. No warning did that like 20 years ago.
These guys sound dope. Been wanting to go to more hardcore shows after seeing Converge and Poison the Well last week and saw they are playing near me.
