New Super Unison track, "Falcon": And their new album Stella is out October 26th on Deathwish. Preorder: Stella - October 26th
Secured a ticket to night 2 of the Power Trip anniversary shows. I may wind up at night 1 as well, but it looks like Power Trip is only playing the second night.
Anybody here into Malevolence? Been loving the newest album, and after hearing it I was like "How did this band never show up on my radar?" They've been around for about a decade and never heard of them until about 2 weeks ago when I found them in similar artists on Apple Music.
Hell yeah, coincidentally been listening to this a lot lately and mad happy I got to catch their last show at S&F 2011. Personal list of underrated 2000s bands would include Swamp Thing, Final Fight, The Golden Age and At Half-Mast. New Jesus Piece rips hard.
I had always heard about Swamp Thing and they seemed like a band that would be up my alley, but never listened
Whoa, deets? Sounds almost as cool as the time Have Heart played that high school gym in Africa or whatever.
I feel like I was the only one listening to this EP in 2012 and judging my the page views, the only one still listening. Check out if you like MLIW or melodic-hardcore in general.
Swamp Thing fucking rules. Went to their last show at strange matter. Would love for them to play again. I swear every time I saw them though some sort of fight or altercation broke out.
It was nowhere near as cool as that, LoL. It was a free show put on by the radio station I worked at during college with Outbreak, Soul Control, and Pushing On. Swamp Thing played second...there were a few things that still stick out to me about that set: 1) Swamp Thing's bassist was playing a really sick looking Fender jazz bass that looked ridiculously out of place at a hardcore show. It worked though because they had a great low-end throughout their set. 2) It was a lot more tame than I expected IIRC. Here's a flyer for the show I somehow found:
they were such a good band. i wonder what the heck happened to them. anyone know what those boys are up to now?
Cruel Hand was originally an Outbreak side project. I’m pretty sure a couple of Outbreak members did double duty in No Trigger
