I rediscovered the last Holder EP about 3 weeks ago and I’ve been listening to it constantly, so these new tracks really hit the spot.
Really cool recap of the weekend. The buc-ees squad was funny but they didn’t talk about the biker gang that showed up. Also, the girl during the Kickback set screaming at everyone was hysterical. If you want to see it in action skip to the 2 minute mark in the Kickback video. I feel like she had no idea what going on or she was on drugs.
I was watching the Kickback set before Hardlore put out that episode and she was sooooo distracting. She had to be high or something.
So many of the bands posted here are straight-up metalcore, it's confusing for an old guy. *Yells at cloud.*
Hate to break it to you but “good” metalcore is coming back and very much embedded in hardcore. But as @jonasjaevel said, please feel free to post non-metalcore hardcore, there is plenty of it out there.
As I said, it’s just confusing. That’s all. I didn’t mean it negatively, so apologies if it came off as such. It’s refreshing to see walls breaking down (did someone say Youth of Today?), as when I was coming up, the scene was rife with dos and don’ts, which ultimately meant missing out on great music.
