Band from Chicago has a good demo out and a 2 song out on spotify. Definitely worth checking out.

Reminds me of a combination of New Jeff Rosenstock, Rohnert Park Ceremony, and Turnstile.

My favorite tracks are: Lurk, Brainless, and Herd Man

  2. New Jesus Piece song is out and that shit made me rise from the dead and completely beat my fucking ass

It's unfortunate, but they've been foreshadowing that shit for 2-4 years now. The fact they dragged it out this long is impressive in itself.

No Defeater discussion around Chorus so I’ll post it here, but it looks like they’re doing something with Yip right now. Ryan Mackfall’s been work filming/working on a documentary with them that’s spanned many years and he mentions it in this post of Will Yip. Also, Joe drumming a couple posts back on Ryan’s instagram

Jukai doesn't surprise me. They went from being pretty active around 2016 to only playing shows here and there the last few years. Still sucks though as they are/were a great effing band.

you know what I hate... When you say you love Krimewatch and some straight White guy says "you just like them because some of them are women" like no, I love them because they have that 90s hardcore sound that I love

Or when they complain about them being sloppy live!

Like...??? What genre do you think this is dumbass. Plenty of punk/hardcore bands are sloppy as hell
