I am officially (back) in New Jersey…

 

The reason Hellfest it got pushed back is there is church here on Sundays at 12 in a different room and they didn’t approve

Love that Haywire can cover Terror or Poison The Well and both sound awesome

 

Unpopular opinion but bands should cover songs that the original artists aren't currently playing live

 

It is sick though that Haywire plays one style of hardcore and is doing two other different styles competently in those covers.

 

All cover suggestions are submitted to the hardcore council for review but my rule of thumb is don’t cover a band currently active. So far my band has covered No Spiritual Surrender and the breakdown for Domination lol

 

Haywire’s set was one of the best moments of the weekend. They did 4 covers and it was perfect.

 

Hellphyra was so much fun! So many incredible bands. It was organized really well other than Sunday when people had to wait outside for 40 minutes for the doors to open in the blazing sun. People had to miss the first opening bands which is unfortunate. But all in all it was a great fest and seeing Disembodied was a dream come true. I hope everyone that got sent to the hospital during On Broken Wings, Sin Against Sin and Recon are ok. I will 100% be going again next year.

 

Haywire set changed my life

 

You guys have me so hyped up for Haywire later this month

 

4 covers and a normal set along with talking 25% of the set. I think they just let them play how long they wanted because people went absolutely insane for them. Most fun set of the weekend.

 

Seeing them tomorrow. Hype.

 

Excited for this weekend

 

people seem to think they are going to do it at Starland, use outside for the two main stages and inside for a third stage. Thoughts?

 

I could see that. The parking absolutely sucks there though.

 

Missing S&F for the second year in a row smh. Would love to see Knocked Loose with a hardcore crowd and not a push pit crowd.
