Alright so think I’m gonna go to tied down next year. I ask this fully as a 40 year old who use to go too hard and has bad ada approved knees. So watching videos it looks very packed. I can do fests ok but can’t do like full fledged crowd moving need to stand your ground floors. Is there an area to kinda watch and take breathers? Can you go upstairs on the balcony or is that specifically for friends and family?
[ What you don’t see in videos and pictures is how long that room actually is. It goes far back and at the end there are tables, chairs and people just sitting around on the floor. The food and half of the vendor room is outside which can get crowded around dinner time but it’s nice to step out. The balcony is an up charge. I attached some pics like a crazy person but honestly the environment is very relaxed. Also if you drive you get in and out privileges to a certain point and people are just tailgating.
thank you so much! My knees basically only major weakness is that continued like planting my feet or crowd surge or whatever you want to call it.
dude of course. the room is pretty well ventilated and the ac works good too. Every year is “sold out” so I’ll report back to let you know what sold out means when turnstile is on the bill.
Tied Down was great as always. Speed set was probably the craziest. Brannon coming out to do a NA song with American Nightmare ruled. Hope Con was one of my favorites of the weekend. Can’t wait for next year.
I honestly don’t know how Tied Down can top this lineup. Using more of the venue for vendors to open up more space outside was ace. Even with Turnstile headlining it didn’t seem like they sold any more tickets than previous years.
they switch off apparently, but I didn’t know if it was legs or the tour or every other. I went last night, Harms Way closed, they both played for 40 mins each, Kruelty played for 30, Jarhead for 25, and Clique got 20
How many Balmora and Sanction side projects we up to now? 30? At least this one has the drummer who used to be in Vein in it.
