i haven't seen much of the comment section outside of this site, but it's an indie rock song so i'm not surprised team hate is putting up numbers.
It’s got the glow on sound, but it feels like it’s leading into a much harder track. I’m interested to see the direction the record takes because of that! Plus it was just the first song off the record. Sometimes those don’t pull you in right away.
It was a damned if you do, damned if you don't type situation with the hardcore scene and gen pop with the first single for this one. They could've released an Underwater Boi type track or a hardcore banger, and someone would've been unhappy. They choice the middle road and released a song thats...just a bit underwhelming IMO. Honestly, a double single with one track being a hardcore track and another being a slower song might have been a good approach.
I have watched so many bands on there just this morning. A lot of the sets are from TIHC but it’s still really cool seeing Panic, On Broken Wings, Drug Church, Candy, etc
People in Philly over the weekend were talking like year of the knife was kind of done as a full time band? Anyone else hearing this?
I would not be surprised. Madi has been through hell and I’m sure doing shows is extremely difficult for her.
if any thread bros are in the LA area and not going to the Daze tour tomorrow, we're playing this in Long Beach should be dope
United Blood was incredible. Yesterday was just nonstop amazing bands. @swboyd thank you for being a gracious host and it was great to meet @williek311 and @Meghin (finally, lol) Would 100% do it again. Top 5 sets: 1. New World Man (wtf) 2. War Hungry (also wtf) 3. Scarab (holy shit) 4. Gridiron (live it TOTALLY makes sense) 5. Terror (the set list was perfect)
No Warning just ripping through almost the entirety of Ill Blood in there set was great. No stage banter or anything.
