And there are simply a lot more hardcore festivals across the country now. Instead of pulling a more national crowd by and large, it’s largely more regional I would expect. Lots of factors probably playing into that decision though.
United Blood and Hellfest are back too. It’s going to be tough to compete with that lineup at Hellphyra fest. (Also, the only fest to not have Mindforce…yet) Let me be very clear: Mindforce fucking rule

Furnace Fest has some highlights this year and the usual lowlights I won't shut up about if you get me started.
They've never put out a statement, but it's been all but confirmed by sources I've seen (social media postings, Axe to Grind touching on it briefly). Plus they haven't had any activity on their social media in almost two years.
Not a ton of reunions and "christian" bands. I think they are finally starting to realize you can't pigeonhole yourself like that and expect to be successful. Also, they must have A LOT of money to secure all these bands.
