I don’t think you are breaking any rules. It’s okay to not know EVERY single problematic person or band. It’s exhausting. I think the key is to learn from what other people inform you about and respect the fact that it’s sort of an unwritten rule not to bring them up again. There are circumstances to the contrary but you get my point. It’s all good.
pit scares the shit out of me. i am happy to watch respectfully from very far away. i try not to cross my arms though so i can invite friendship at the gig. you’ll find me listing from left to right because of my old man left knee.
Depends on the pit. I mean I'll move around for Drug Church or whatever but I'm not trying to break my nose in the Bulldoze pit.
Haven’t been to TIHC since I moved out of Philly. Maybe this year is the year I go back. I do love underground arts. curious what the reasoning for downsizing is.
last year did not sell very well, def the weakest crowd ever. And Saturday everyone left after Sunami and Sunday the place was a ghost town after Pain of Truth.
That checks out. I remember thinking the lineup last year looked solid but don’t remember a lot of people being very hype. I’d imagine, depending on lineup of course, that at UA it sells really quickly this year.
it’s one of those things, where hardcore today is def a younger crowd and this still insist on booking a very OG lineup. I think that generation is aging out a bit, and not that it’s right but the younger kids aren’t that hype to get into the history. Also there have been a bunch of hardcore lineups that have been stronger.
