I think I paid almost $50 for my Tony Hawk Underground shirt from Youthxenergy. Love it a lot but I cannot be spending that kind of money on any old shirt lol

 

You can get a CC shirt printed with your own design shipped for under $30 on printify. Not an ad but I've made a couple and they came out pretty good.

 

I've definitely gotten a few shirts, both boots and official stuff, on Comfort Colors for $30 and under shipping included. Not gonna go into this further because that'll get into my opinions on specific booters and the way they do their shit in a venue that's not the place for it. Good value stuff is out there if you're looking for it.

Feels like recency bias but I think this might actually be correct lol. Not the style of hardcore I gravitate to normally but maybe the best execution of it I’ve ever heard

Still Nothing Moves You, Songs to Scream at the Sun and Heavier Than Heaven, Lonelier Than God are the three that come to mind

 

as i've gotten older, my love of hardcore has and only seems to keep growing. i had give blood twenty years ago, but it never got much play. the first time i ever heard wake the dead was this year. don't wait up had a ton of rotation for me in 2021 - 2023 though. was psyched that they got back together.

 

Shattered Realm was the band that signed to Trustkill btw

 

Honestly, as far as current hardcore releases I love how the 90’s are coming back with metallic hardcore, youth crew and the Dischord sound.

Labels to watch for are Ephyra, The Coming Strife, New Age, Delayed Gratification, NMZ and Sunday Drive to name a few.

a lot of great bands on these labels. anklebiter (rip) was from providence, stateside, turning point, restraining order, on broken wings...

 

Excalibur is probably the most recent record that I'd consider a "classic"
