    England.

Not sure if this is okay to do in here but for an old hardcore fan set in his ways, who do I need to listen to in the last 10 years to drag me kicking and screaming up to date!? I guess more so in the hardcore punk kind of vein. Any help would be greatly appreciated but this isn’t the right place to ask the kindly tell me to fuck off!

My advice would be to look at the PLETHORA of fests coming up and go through them and check out the bands. Most are a mix of old and new so it’s a good balance.

If you feel like really going down the rabbit hole, you're not going to find many bad releases from any of these labels:
    11 PM Records
LA VIDA ES UN MUS DISCOS
    Delayed Gratification Records
    UNLAWFUL ASSEMBLY
    RoachLeg Records

always good in my eyes because we're always willing to provide recs here. others have covered some general ones (especially just looking at fest lineups though some of the bigger ones may skew a little more hardcore at large with more metal overlap than your used to with just straightforward hardcore punk, but there's diamonds in the rough there). some of my personal favorites from the last few years:

    -Pure Disgust
    -Gulch
    -Burning Lord
    -Age of Apocalypse
    -Mindforce
    -Spy
    -Green Beret
    -Violent Spirit
    -Peace Test
    -Scarab

Thanks so much for putting this together - really appreciate it. I’ll make my way through the list and get listening!!

Very grateful for all the recs above. Great community

Second age of apocalypse. I'm also an old ass trying to get back into hardcore and that band was a good one.

Would add pain of truth to the list.
