Being on FYA's undercard is at least allowing me to see Killing Frost and Silver over two days around New Year's so I ain't gonna complain about that one too much.
These fests are in a weird spot because the pool of bands to choose from brings on a lot of repeats. So when they step away or put a midtier reunion as a major spot it’s just kind of a bust. There are so many of theses fests so frequent now it’s turning into a major fest market where everyone is being booked on the same fests around their album cycles. Ok I’m rambling. I think all these fests are doing a great job for the cards dealt even though it’s not stuff I love.
