FFO: Guilt Trip, Piss Ant

 

Oh shit. Had no idea they were putting something new out.

 

This rocks.

 

knew this was in the works for a long time, but have no idea it would drop now. glad it's finally hear. the guitarwork on this is beautiful.

 

Yeah this Lifeless Dark record is unreal, once again making people look like idiots for making EOTY lists so soon

 

Some great bands on here, but the hardcore festival bubble feels like it's starting to burst in the states if this is the lineup they're charging us $200 for tbh.

 

Tbh I still feel like $200 is not even that bad for that lineup. It’s pretty good.

Lol at their comments section on IG asking “where’s the hardcore bands” and “where’s the heavy bands”

 

Other than Cold World, none of those bands feel likely particularly special gets considering their recent show schedules. like basement and superheaven are both cool, but they feel like incredibly underwhelming headliners for this. nothing on the undercard stands out to me as i need to get out to this festival to see. just feels like a lot of good bands that tour pretty frequently minus cold world and soul search.

get there's a lot of adjacent stuff on this, but people are fucking idiots if they think there's no hard bands on this. lol.

 

I think booking Basement and Superheaven was a bit of a reach to fill headliner spots but tickets will still move for them regardless. Tickets are only $13 more than I what I paid for tied down last year so it’s not crazy.

With that being said they could spilt up the two days perfectly. Basement/Superheaven/High Vis/Seeyouspace/Glare/etc screamo indie stuff. Then dump all the hardcore bands the other day under Cold World. Everyone wins.

 

Indication from Japan is sick. Hope they roll thru here in Texas

 

Yeah, the lineup is good but it’s more of the same

 

Cold World, Soul Search, and Fury would be sick, overall….its fine I guess

 

That lineup is basic as hell, fun bands in there for sure but it’s so expected out of the scene too.

Shogun. My barber is the bass player of Bitter End, but he wanted to start singing again, so he started Shogun with one of the other barbers.

 

That’s awesome! Now I haven’t heard of the band before but that sounds awesome and I’ll definitely check that out.

 

Bitter End is so sick, Climate of Fear is extremely underrated

 

So I missed out on a lot this year, what are some releases I need to listen to.

 

I don’t feel like any of these headliners are as big as the Hatebreed, Obituary, Sunami headlining combo of last year.
