A little bit of an aside, but related to Sunami. They are just a band I respect. To be at their level and just singing about hating cops and writing dumb breakdowns is funny. But they run that band very DIY. Compared to other bands at, above, or slightly below their level and most would have a lot more help or infrastructure around them. They have used record labels, but it’s still mostly just them running things. I think the fact they were willing to be the secret band playing 4 at Tied Down says a lot. Most other bands probably would have wanted to be on the poster the whole time. A lot of respect for the way they are doing things.
