Just realised the No Warning/Cold World/Higher Power show that I was planning to go to is on the same day that I'm seeing Converge. I think I might cry.
Turnstile got a full play through last night in the car. Very fun band, they're probably gonna double their fan base with this release. However many of my favorites are the formulaic songs that fall in line with all their other releases, and some of the more experimental tracks aren't greatly appealing to me, like Moon for example. When that piano comes in though, so much fun.
Same. The EP was awesome, but this is...something else. In a good way. It just clicked for me in a way the EP didn't. I can't exactly put my finger on why, but this is giving me real mid-00s vibes similiar to what I got when I first listened to The Things We Carry. I picked that up today along with Red Death's latest and a $2 Fuming Mouth 7". Gonna be a good mail day when I get that package from Triple B.
