Does it ever bum you out or upset you when you listen to a band that everyone likes and you can’t get into it or hear what everyone else hears? That’s Ceremony for me, listened to them like a decade plus ago and couldn’t get into it, the hype machine is back around and gave it another spin and it just doesn’t happen for me.
Drain tour is nuts BTW. So sick to see them blow up. Saw them open for Terror in a 125 cap 2.5 years ago and now they're headlining over them in a 4300 cap room (and still growing).
Damn. Drain tour is cool, but would love a little more variety with the support. Terror, Scowl, End It, et. al are always on this type of stuff.
Also, afaik, Trail of Lies is the same drummer as No Pressure and Regulate so it's an obligatory fuck them from me.
The Factory in Deep Ellum. I lied and said it was 4300 cap bc I thought they were playing the bigger room, but it's actually the Studio side so it's only like 1100, but still
Not really sure, honestly. Since it's the only Texas show, I'd expect pretty quickly. I don't think it'll be an instant sell out or anything, but I'm gonna buy mine Friday just to be safe.
Different people. Drummer for Regulate is a known sex pest whose long been discussed on chorus/ap.net (harry corigan - No Good News saga around them signing to Pure Noise). Vocalist for Life's Question got into a bar fight that lead to some collateral damage where a female tattoo artist got injured IIRC. Pretty sure I saw some conflicting reports around it, but it's still left a sour taste around the band for me.
yea he lives in Philly currently and the story around here, is he was with the group, but was very very drunk and wasn’t actually involved in the bar fight. It’s def kind of one those whatever you personally believe stories.
