The new Slope album rips:

 

The first couple singles just kinda sounded like “we have Turnstile at home”, I’ll try giving the full thing a listen after work

 

Weird take. The album is so much fun and puts you in a good mood. Glad that they are signed and hopefully they will come to the states.

 

The reductive take is that they answer the question "What if Turnstile were from Germany and also really into Mr. Bungle and the Beastie Boys?"

 

I wouldnt call it a Turnstile rip off. Some similar sounds for sure but its more like early rhcp with some hardcore instrumentals mixed in, to me at least. Im enjoying it.

Today in wrestling/hardcore crossover stuff that's not Brody King or CM Punk

 

Tried the first few songs of that Slope record. The songs that don’t sound like Turnstile just sound like 80’s Chili Peppers. Not for me, oh well

 

Please don't compare good bands to those fronted by admitted abusers.
