Ends of Sanity is going to be at the show tonight opening for Pain of Truth. Messaged them on Instagram and asked what they are going to be playing. Their response: “Everything we have written!” Hell yeah
I know Pain Of Truth has a more lukewarm response here, but their current run is really dialed in. I actually really like the intro they are doing into Lifeless On the Ground. It takes me back to a certain time growing up.
From what I hear, they are far better live than on record. I just can’t get into the new album for some reason.
Vomit Forth is playing this show and I haven’t been to a metal show in YEARS. What do people do? Mosh? Lol
The whole set was spin kicks and two stepping. There is a reason they are on this bill. Holy shit. They ended with this song and the whole place erupted:
WHATS YOUUUUUR.... PAIN TOLERANCE. Very excited to catch them with POT next week. My date gets King Nine too should be a good show.
It’s a shame Life’s Question have such a bad rap because they are fun band and the front man seems like a genuinely nice guy.
correct me if I’m wrong, but the way I heard it, was supposedly he and his group of friends assaulted a bartender, but then he said or Joe Hardcore said he was there but didn’t actually assault anyone, he was trashed though. But then “intimidated” people, had altercations with people telling them he didn’t actually do anything? Like it’s a whole bunch of layers, and a lot of who do you believe? That’s the way I heard it from people in Philly.
I’m not sure of all the fine details. I think it’s one of those instances like the Momentum fiasco where you come up with your own judgment and where you stand on the matter. Glad I went and PoT are definitely a sight to see live. Definitely one of the most violent shows I’ve been to in a while. They are really trying to channel a lot of that Madball energy and I think he referenced them at least 10 times. Ends of Sanity and Vomit Forth really stole the show for me.
Saw Spy for the first time at a hardcore "fest" in Gangnam last night. Shit RULED. Wrong State (Osaka, JP) was a huge standout of the show. Insane set and totally unexpected. Skip to track 2 to just jump right into the thick of it. It's crazy because their early early stuff I found on Bandcamp was almost like 2005 Comeback Kid. And now they sound like this, lol.
