For the record he claimed that their socials were hacked and that conversation was doctored….yeaaa right!!!!
At the Harms Way show and it's not filling up nearly as quick as I expected, also a way younger crowd than I figured would be here.
Philly was full by the time Fleshwater went on, but yea JiveBomb and Ingrown played to like a half full venue. The people you think should be there, will be there by the time Harms Way plays.
Just thought Harms Way were more popular than this I guess and expected it to sell out. But maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, which is usually the case haha
Harms Way show was similar in Detroit. Definitely booked it a venue larger than what the demand was, venue was less than half full which is a bummer. Lots of walk out after Fleshwater too. HW sounded as great as ever though, I hate that they still seem to be struggling to connect with people.
Wild to me that people would go to the HW tour and not stick around for them. Didnt see a noticeable amount of people leave the Boston show like that, even with Fleshwater being a hometown band
Conversely, I heard that the Philly show at the FU Church was probably overcapacity with hot and sweaty hardcore dudes being as shitty as ever. And the Chicago show at the Metro has sold out a 1000 cap room (Weekend Nachos prolly reunion didn't hurt), but I digress.
I went to the Philly show at the church. It was fine, about half full til Fleshwater played, very full during them, then maybe 20-30 walk outs after Fleshwater. But crowd seemed fine! I think Hardlore being so popular has inflated the perceived demand for Harms Way and Twitching Tongues being back. Harms Way was struggling to find a niche previously. I’m glad they are both back though.
