I feel like Verse never gets any love. Aggression is probably a top ten hardcore album for me.

 

Great band, feel their last release was a bit underwhelming. This album slayed. Remember it being a big deal upon release.

 

Burning Love were fun when I saw them live 5(?) years ago with Black Breath, En Damn, I'm old.

Modern Life is War, Have Heart, With Honor, and Comeback Kid were probably my favorite bands from the mid-00s. Witness and The Things We Carry hold up particularly well for me.

 

Unfortunately, I am pretty much over this band. I appreciate what they do but could never get into them.

 

The new Backtrack is good.

 

Top 10 Hardcore Records

 

This record turns 10 on Monday. Still incredibly sick. Really wish we got that second LP

Seeing Terror and Strife in a skate shop in two weeks. Can't wait for the madness

 

Do Strife have a steady drummer now? It would be cool to see them do some shows with Igor Cavalera.

Guys I have a question:

Does anyone here like the band First Blood, and if so, what would you argue is their essential song?
(My band needs to cover one of their songs for a show we are playing)

 

First Blood: California Straightedge band fronted by Karl, ex-guitarist from Terror. Nope, never heard of them.

 

They’re not bad! It’s not exactly my genre but some of their songs are pretty damn fun.

have any of you listened to END? they put out their debut ep a few months ago and i think its rad. not sure if it fits in this thread but i couldn't find any posts about it so i thought i'd shoot here. reminds me a lot of cult leader/code orange
