Those riffs are a bit played out but once the vocals come in.... holy shit.

 

He sounds just like he used to. Which isn’t too much of a surprise but he sounded a lot different in the reunion videos from 2011

agreed. it sounds decent, but i'm scared that it's going to be another entry into the half of fame of band that put out mediocre comeback records and probably should have stayed dead ala refused.

30 second preview of new American Nightmare music. It sounds like the intro to a track and cuts out about 3 or 4 seconds after Wes's vocals come in. Coming out in February 2018 on Rise.

Even if the musicianship doesn’t grab me like Down till We’re Underground, Eisold is one of the greatest lyricist ever in the scene. An all time favorite, his lyrics alone will have me interested.


TBH, his vocals sound good. Doesn’t sound like the old recordings as much, but if you watch videos of Wes performing back in the day he was TERRIBLE live. I’ve caught 3 reunion shows and was genuinely impressed at how much of his lyrics he did himself, and sounded good doing!

Color me excited. This and Glassjaw today have me insanely happy.

I don't think it'd be all that bad, but I'm just sort of worried it will be mediocre. But he also has a good track record. I still haven't listened to that Refused record lol
