Lots of stuff coming this year has me excited between DRAIN, Judiciary, Zulu, Gel, Jesus Piece, Fiddlehead. Eating gooood in 2023.

 

Getting new tui as well at some point. Justice mentioned doing some new stuff. Probably an ep.

 

Auburn Hills/Romulus would be the cheaper options for hotels.

 

Anyone got set lists from the recent Jesus Piece shows?

 

In things I missed from last year

 

Caught the Candy/Fleshwater/Division of Mind tour last night. Almost sold out crowd on Super Bowl Sunday, was awesome.

 

Bane got added to Furnace Fest

 

this is more metal/crossover, but these guys are super young and already rippin' HARD.

I don't really know if it will fit in this thread but Shovel's classical post hardcore album, released in 1999, is finally on Spotify. Give it a try.

 

Unbroken and OG Throwdown both playing Indecision30 is so wild. I'm having a very hard time deciding whether to hit that, S&F, or Furnace Fest. I really want to make an out-of-state fest work this year, but will only be able to do one.

 

Weird get but solid nonetheless. Can’t vouch that the band still has it.

but that’s part of what makes cold world so good. They’re able to take their favorite artists and inspirations and seamlessly integrate them in to a different genre and not make it cringy or try hard. A way to pay homage and create something new.

 

I didn’t even know that but cold world truly remains undefeated.
