Welp, they pretty much sold out of merch before the show even started. It is cool though that Undying will be working with Holy Mountain going forward. Not sure about anything from PFC.
Some show notes: First off, what a cool show! From bands I will most likely never see again. You can tell it was a very special experience with the bands telling stories of John and the scene in the 90's. The venue was a nice size and it was a sold out show. Azazel: They have no right being that heavy. They had THREE guitarists and their vocalist was a beast. The thing that was really cool about seeing these bands live is that when their albums were released in the 90's, recording equipment and quality wasn't as good as it is now. Also, it was annoying because I was standing in the merch line when they started playing so I missed the beginning of their set. Catharsis: this band impressed me a lot. They were the ones I was least familiar with but I am going to do a nice discography run because they were fantastic. They straddle that line between punk and metallic hardcore. A very political band. The vocalist kept jumping into the pit and standing in the middle of it while grabbing people and interacting with them. Prayer for Cleansing: HOLY FUCK. Legit one of the best hardcore bands I have ever seen. Their vocalist blew out his vocals the night before so they essentially let the crowd sing most of the lyrics but it still remains insanely good. RIFFS for days and just breakdown after breakdown. If they were still active they would be huge. Undying: probably the band I knew the most from but impressed me the least. Still a great live band but you could tell the vocalist was not entirely dialed in and he looked exhausted. I am assuming they alternated with PFC for the headlining spot. Their lead guitarist, whom also played in Catharsis, had a really nice and emotional speech. I am really glad I got to go though and will not forget it.
Nice! I thought I saw Will up there. I was on the front left but I don’t think he pulls the camera back far enough to spot me. They did have someone professionally shooting the entire show so I’m sure that will be up soon.
I'd probably get the PFC longsleeve up if I hadn't bought the Antichrist Siege Machine Grateful Dead rip they had at the show on Sunday. Gotta budget that shit out unfortunately.
Snagged a long sleeve this morning. Shouldn't be spending money on shirts, but I couldn't pass it up.
It's all good! This actually worked out perfectly since you won't have to worry about shipping it or anything.
Update, finally watched the full video. At 20:45 you can see me. Yellow Gods Hate hat and blue zip up. I’m famous mom!
I had no idea all these people were part of TCS. They are essentially the modern day Tribunal Records. Also, this was a cool cover they did last night and dedicated it to all the straight edge people.
