I'll give that list this - Jane Doe is at least near where it should be.

 

Putting Rohnert Park in the top 10 is the only thing they did right.

 

Whole list felt it was written by rejected Pitchfork and Noisey writers

 

I think Sentenced to Life is better than Harvey Breathing. I also don’t think black breath is a hardcore band. But the main takeaway is that black breath rules.

I would assume these people have never listened to the bands you listed. How do you have zero lockin out bands?

 

I had some chats with my brother and Ace Stallings about this, and we're all of agreement that the list is...definitely out there. I reread the intro yesterday and saw this:

My label just released the debut EP for the band Soul Sacrifice. Some old-fashioned breakdown-heavy hardcore. I think people on here would dig this.

 

Kind of reminds me of Lost Art era Cloak/Dagger mixed with Violent Reaction's Oi side, but rougher and played at 1.5x speed.


Also put out a sick demo in January that I missed until now:
