They've posted occasionally on the fb page for the last few years, I don't get why this time people suddenly think it's going to be a reunion.

 

This is true. Still hopeful. I haven't seen the latest posts.

 

I heard Songs to Scream a couple months after the last show and fell in love with the band. As much as I would love to see HH play I don't think it's time yet.

 

I will quote mht on this: If that band got back together, they're the biggest frauds in hardcore.

 

Anyone heard the news about Wolf Down? Crazy, I think that might be the worst statement I've ever seen in these cases, and boy have we seen a lot.

 

Yeah that statement was shocking. Wolf Down's stuff with their old vocalist(who's now the singer for Venom Prison) was fantastic, but good riddance to them.

 

Venom Prison are brilliant. These guys are/were not in recent times.

That sentence about his "radical left wing views" made me puke.

EDIT: "sexual self-reflection concerning the right approach to consensual sex had not yet been brought to the same level as my otherwise radical-leftwing convictions."

 

Any talk of Wolf Down should just be redirected to how good Venom Prison are tbh

 

Imagine typing that sentence and not immediately jumping out the window.

Just read that Wolf Down statement and some of the comments posted underneath on Facebook.

...I think I'd had enough of shit on the internet today.

On a side note, I'm seeing Converge tomorrow night and am hoping they play one or both of the new tracks they've released. Lord willin'.

 

That Converge/Neurosis show will be insane. I wish I was going to be in town for it.

 

I am not straight edge or vegan but I love the music for w/e reason

This Incendiary record is HARD holy shit I slept on this

 

The whole record crushes, but those first three songs are so good.

 

I love the music but I can't help but cringe a bit at some of the lyrics.

 

Yeah "Still Burning" is probably my favorite. The whole record sounds immaculate too.

 

One of my favorites this year.

 

Yeah Thousand Mile Stare is easily my AOTY right now. I thought TUI's new album would beat it but it's just too good. Power Trip's most recent work is pretty high up there too though.

 

I loved TMS off the bat, but strangely I haven't returned to it much since release.

 

Never really listened to Limp Wrist before, but this is their new album. It's pretty good

 

TMS is my second favourite of the year, behind Higher Power

 

Power Trip's new album is so good, too.

 

Nightmare Logic is so damn good. It's a trip down '80s speed metal lane and it's awesome.

 

They might be more metal, but the new All Out War song rips.
