I imagine Turnstile will be fine but seeing Soul Glo in this size venue will probably never happen in my or THEIR lifetime again.
Yeah I really enjoyed this EP when I listened a few weeks ago. It shreds, very unique sounding crossover.
I mean if you don't like a band named after a Rush song then there is no helping you. This sounds like a more Rock n' Roll Blood for Blood down to the Rob Lind vocals.
Speaking of vomit. Anyone check this out? Wtf https://www.reddit.com/r/Hardcore/c...urce=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
“MCR has asked that any beverages purchased from the concession stand have their tops removed and cans opened.” Wtf To be fair it’s smart thinking on their part in case someone throws a full bottle of something at them.
Is this not a common thing in the states? Every sporting event or concert I’ve been to in Canada does it this way. Hmm
To be fair, this is the first BIG gig I’ve been to in a bit where they did and it’s been a bit since I’ve been to a stadium show so I’m sure things have changed. I think the last big show I went to was The Killers maybe four years ago at MSG but they didn’t make us do it then so who knows.
Scene report: Soul Glo was awesome and scared the crap out of everyone. But they were really excited to be there. Turnstile were incredible as expected. A LOT of people were there to see them and they didn’t disappoint. We thought they were actually going to do an encore people were cheering so much. Well, admittedly not a diehard fan of MCR before this, there is a reason they are so huge and adored. They killed it and Gerard Way seems likes a genuinely nice guy. Suffice to say, I see a discography run in my near future. Glad I got to hang with @Elder Lightning again!
