Late to this disscussion but I've been really diving into Song to Scream at the Sun lately and I'm absolutely loving it.
Me too haha. I've never really got into Have Heart but after people were talking about them in this thread, I went back to the album and it suddenly clicked with me. I've listened to it a lot since.
Shit may be old but they're suppose to have a 7" dropping on Triple B this year. Been jamming this shit lately. So get educated. Wild Side - S/T
Mine as well plug my good good friends in 96. Some North Jersey hardcore for ya. Just released their third album. It's rock solid. Check it. Future Trippin', by 96
Eh, I wish dude stuck with Mother of Mercy. Their next album was going to be insane considering how much they were improving
Check out Expire or Rotting Out. I also haven't listened to that specific Backtrack album but I assume it sounds like the rest of their stuff. That Deal With The Devil EP is so good.
I've listened to Expire and I'm not sure if they're my thing. Listen to a few Rotting Out songs and liked them, maybe I should listen to more.
Apparently American Nightmare played a new song called "American Death" at the Echoplex on friday night.
Any Swamps fans on here? Seen these dudes live a few times and the live experience is fucking intense.
Turnstile is a strange fit to RR, Code Orange makes sense. Either way awesome for both of them, going to get a lot of exposure.
Roadrunner is a much more varied these days, so I'm not that surprised that they signed Turnstile. It's good to see them on a big label too. Personally I think if any recent hardcore band could make it big, it's them.
