It's completely re-recorded from scratch. They missed out three tracks from the original, but it still bangs. Snapped up that vinyl so fast.
I thought it was much different upon the first listen, I was like “Does Will have magic powers now and can make old tracks sound like they were just recorded?”
Yeah, it's been done really well. Definitely got a fresh, crisp production sound and is much fuller in my opinion whilst keeping its original flourishes. I think the tracks 'Vanity' and 'You Broke Like Glass' were re-recorded and released a year or two ago, but of course now they've put out the rest of the album.
Pre-orders up on both Closed Casket and Deathwish. Love the CC exclusive but I’ll probably go DW since they’re always top notch with shipping.

Man, this made me go fire up some old Iron Age records. I hope when I go, people will remember me like they remember Wade.
One of my favorite hardcore podcasts talks about my favorite EP, Firestorm, by Earth Crisis. Lots of testimonials from people in hardcore and an interview with Karl. 185 Miles South: 182. Earth Crisis "Firestorm" on Apple Podcasts
Don't remember seeing this posted when it came out, but I've also been MIA for a while. Not really hardcore in a traditional sense. Self-described as "gloomy peace punk with a NWOBHM/hard rock backbone." Plenty to like in their catalogue for hardcore fans with a penchant for goth/death rock.
